Learn Spanish Online is a locally operated language program based in Quetzaltenango, Guatemala. Founded by a Guatemalan–Dutch team, our mission is to offer personal, high-quality Spanish lessons while supporting local teachers and employment in Guatemala.

We work as a small and dedicated team. Our administrative staff and teachers are based locally, and all classes are taught one-on-one by experienced native Spanish speakers. We believe language learning should be personal, interactive, and connected to real culture — not anonymous or automated.
Learn Spanish Online is a partner company of Do Guatemala, a travel agency that organizes cultural trips and volunteer programs in Guatemala. In fact, our online program was partly created to help volunteers prepare for their placement in Guatemala — or to maintain and improve their Spanish after returning home.

This connection keeps our courses practical, culturally grounded, and closely linked to real-life experiences in Guatemala.
When you study with us, you are not just learning Spanish — you are connecting with a local team that values education, community, and meaningful exchange.
