You’ll learn the foundations: alphabet, pronunciation, essential vocabulary, greetings, and the present tense (regular and irregular verbs). Gradually, you’ll work with adjectives, prepositions, past tense, and an introduction to the future.
By the end of this level, you can hold a simple conversation using present and past tenses with confidence.

K’iche’ – Mayan Language Course

Looking to learn K’iche’ online? Our K’iche’ language course offers the rare opportunity to study one of the most important Mayan languages of Guatemala with a native speaker.

K’iche’ (also spelled Quiché) is one of the main indigenous languages of Guatemala and is widely spoken in many highland communities. Its grammar and pronunciation are very different from Spanish, making structured guidance essential when learning this unique Mayan language.

This online K’iche’ course is especially valuable for students conducting fieldwork or research in Guatemala, as well as professionals working with K’iche’-speaking communities abroad. Learning K’iche’ allows for deeper cultural understanding and more meaningful communication.

Classes are taught by a native K’iche’ speaker who has developed a structured and practical program to help students build real communication skills. Using digital materials and guided practice, you will gradually learn to understand and speak K’iche’ with confidence.
